What brings you guys back to your games? You can through in specifics or generalixations, but ultimately, what brings you back to a game? Especially after you have beaten it?
as always response after this stuff gets going.

Nostalgia, mostly.
Nostalgia combined with whatever replay value or a challenge I may have in mind usually come into play when deciding this.
good memories bring me back to all the older (PS1) games, like Final Fantasy VIII. it can be triggered by music, talking with someone who also enjoyed the game, or maybe seeing something familiar on tv, etc...
Usually it's nostalgia that brings me back, but since I've replayed Metroid Prime more than most games, there must be something else I can't name at the moment. Perhaps the atmosphere takes me back.
Nostalgia and ideas.
edit: Drakengard has been the only game I havent disliked going through a reply.
edit edit: I suppose FFV Advance doesnt count because it has added content... alot better then the Ps1 versionI love it even more then when I first played it.
Memories bring me back to Tenchu 2 en Metal Gear Solid. Music brings me back to FFX.
The need to get all the weapons I want, or the need to kill.
It looks like the ground had a sex change.
Boredom.
And if I hear music from the game, or remixes, and if I'm talking to someone about it, I'm like ohh I want to go plaaaay it. Or sometimes cos I'm proud of the stuff I did in the game or how long I spent in it, so I'll go pick it up for a while and remember how cool it is having Tidus' ultimate weapon and stuffThough I probably won't play it again for long.
