    Default ultimate gambit

What is the best gambit formula people have come up with for general battles: i.e. ones in which there is no anticipated vulnerability to a particular element/magic.

My basic set up for my healers is Raise>Curage>Esuna>Cura>Cure>Attack Leaders Target. For everyone else it is basically Raise>Cure>Attack Leaders Target.

If I need to make boss specific adjustments, I do, but that is for general grinding up there. It can be rather mana draining for your healers, so you might want to wait until you get three Mist Charges before you make your gambits so heal-heavy. Esuna can be hard on your MP, but with three Mist Charges its not that big of a deal.

    1. Ally:HP<50% >> Curaja
    2. Ally:status=KO >> Arise
    3. Ally:status=Disease >> Cleanse
    4. Ally:status=Confuse >> Esuna
    5. Ally:status=Sleep >> Esuna
    6. Ally:status=Blind >> Blindna
    7. Ally:status=Slow >> Haste
    8. Ally:status=Silence >> Vox
    9. Ally:status=Sap >> Regen
    10. Foe:party leader's target >> Attack
    11. Foe:nearest visible >> Attack

The twelfth slot is Self >> Hastega for my leader character and Self >> Libra for one of the other two. The third character has an empty slot. Sometimes I'll give him Self >> Protectga or Shellga, but usually I don't worry about it.

Enemies in this game absolutely love to riddle your party in myriad status effects. Near the end of the game in particular, you should be more worried about being done in by Confuse or Disease or Silence than simply being beaten to death. I think the only effects for which I haven't accounted are Poison and Petrify, and those are rare and non-threatening enough that I don't mind removing them manually.

All instances of Esuna, Blindna, and Vox would ideally be replaced with Esunaga, just to be on the safe side, but the MP loss would be too great to afford.

Ah, yes. Those, too, are rare enough.

It may be more prudent to simply use Remedies since using items is quicker.

However, there comes the cost of buying 99 Remedies... And unlike MP, once out, you may be out for a while.
