Default Games you keep coming back to

Are there any games that, no matter how much you play them, you keep coming back to? I've been playing Final Fantasy VI at least once or twice a year forever. It's my favourite game. I used to play Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time a lot, but I don't so much any more.

The one that inspired me to make this thread was Sonic Rush. No matter how much I play that game, it never gets old. I've had it since launch and I've played it a lot since then. I realized that I put it in my DS a month ago and I haven't taken it out since then.

So what games do you keep coming back to?

    Megaman Legends
    Megaman 8
    Project Justice
    Star Ocean 2
    Breath of Fire 3
    Sonic 3
    Kirby no Kira Kira Kids
    Vampire Savior
    Final Fantasy Tactics

None of those games gets old to me. Everytime I play them, they are as fun as they were when I first started to play.
Xenogears is the tragic story of how your whole life can take a crappy turn, just because you happened to see a lady in a wedding dress before her wedding.

actually i can't think of any...i tend to do the opposite, i will buy a game, play it and then sell or trade it and never play it again...i am very shallow when it comes to relationships with video games

I've gotten into the habit of trading in games. I find it more efficient, seeing as how the save on the memory card is the actual proof of completing a game.

...Um, what? People don't play these games over again to prove that they've completed them before, they play them again because they enjoy them.

    Anyway,

Mega Man 2 (Bubble Man's stage theme)
Mega Man X (How fast can you clear it this time?)
Final Fantasy IV (Nostalgia and OMG MOON)
Final Fantasy VI (I want my Kitten Hood)
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (Someday, we'll collect 95% of the Battle Trophies. Someday.)

Ya, but I never watch movies or read books a second time over unless I really enjoy them. Haven't found a video game that has yet to do such a thing.

I take back my earlier statement!

Streets Of Rage 2 is lots of fun, I will never tire of beating on street thugs as a stripper. Thank Buddha for emulators!

    3 games come to mind.
    1. Ascendency, which is an old DOS game for the PC
2.Civilization 2(this one tops the list)
    3. Final Fantasy VII. I was playing RPGS for 15 years before this came out but it has always been my favorite

Super Smash Bros. (N64). I just have it lying next to my TV and it seems every party in my house there's epic SSB battles no matter who actually comes. Even folks who don't play video games seem to be drawn to it. We even made a drinking game out of it.
    What I've been listening to:
