    Default Catastrophe?

Does anyone know Catastrophe's exact hp??? I spent 30 minutes fighting him!!! I was doing huge amounts of damage, at least 9,999 damage each time and yuna and tidus can break dmg. limit! So that's like 50,000 each 3 character attacks...Does anyone know how to kill him????

    HP: 2,200,000
Tips: Use Protect to defend against 100 Thorns. Make sure to keep yourself with enough health to stay alive. Dedicate one person to Curaga, Full-Life and Auto-Life, and two characters to Quick Hit. If you're not doing 99999 damage per hit, or your characters aren't strong enough to survive 100 Thorns, boost their stats using Strength and Defence Spheres.

If you're fighting Monster Arena bosses and you don't have Break Damage Limit, you're in for a sad time.

You might want to get the Celestial Weapons for Break Damage Limit.

Catastrophe is probably the easiest of all the Original Creations. I'd hate to see you get beaten by the others.

Technically, Earth Eater is the easiest, since it's impossible to lose against him (if you use Life after every attack), since all his attacks hit only one person at a time.

I think Earth Eater is hard..my party isnt all that fast so usually he'll ambush me at the beginning and do Megaton or whatever. Does anyone know how to get easy strength, defense, or agility spheres so I can replace the blank nodes on my sphere grid???

You can get 4 strength spheres by dodging 100 lightnings(I think) in the thunder planes. You also get alot of Luck Spheres, Defence Spheres, Strength Spheres etc by revisiting every chamber of the fayth.

Correct. If you want to beat monsters like Catastrophe,
you will have to have BDL on all your weapons and your
Strength should be at 150 - at least. Go training, now!
    Peace and grace,

Start of battle have Rikku mix Hyper Mighty G for Protect, Shell, Regen, Auto Life, and 5x Cheer, Focus, Luck, Aim, and Reflex. Have defense about 165 but not to high so all 3 characters will automatically have od refilled after each Hydraulic Press. Afterwards use Quick Hit followed Mega-Potion each turn because unless your defenses are at 255 Greater Spere can cause anywhere from 2000 to 6000 damage each turn with Ultima/ normal attack. Also, make sure you are causing anywhere form 60000 to 99999 damage each turn or else it will be a really long battle. Also, for the strength, magic, defense, etc. spheres battle the species creations. Of course for Luck and Fortune spheres you'll need to battle Earth Eater and Greater Sphere.

Protect and Shell are your friends, but not Reflect.

Hydraulic Press will do damage equal to your HP, if it doesn't miss (it sometimes does). With Protect, the damage is halved, rounded down. Ultima that it uses to counter is unavoidable, so Shell it up with MDef > 125, and it should only do 6k. And Press is it's version of a normal attack. Don't worry about that one unless it decides to do 99999, because it likes to do that.

Avoid all elemental Magic. All of it.
