Yes, and I have always thought so. I’ve had pictures of myself on the internet since 2001, and the worst that has ever come from it has been people calling me ugly.

No. I already had a fair idea that kind of stuff happens, and I have never cared. That kind of stuff doesn’t happen to me, anyway.
Generally speaking, you're safe unless you become a bandwagon on 'b' (I'm not going to give the full name of the place for obvious reasons involving google) where 99% of such images come from, and that normally only happens to people with "funny" faces or poses like that kid there. Then yes, your life is screwed, but the chances of ending up a 'b' bandwagon are pretty remote, and usually you have to be some poor soul with a disease / deformity (it's a very sick and childish place) in which case chances are you're either used to it or have too many problems to notice.
I'm not bothered what people think of me, whatever happens happens and I'll just laugh it off. There are plenty of pictures of me tucked away in various corners of the internet, with face, and not all of them are clothed. (I'm a bit of a slut sometimes) - they're only in places where I can trust people, and only the most spiteful person would send your picture to 'b' and tell them to play with it.

For me? Yes. For a twelve year-old girl in a chat room for pedophiles? Nah. In general, I see no harm, but I suppose that freaky stalkers pop up every so often and a picture does not help matters.
