lvl 48 with solo BB on NES...then I died too much so I quit...
In DoS I got 4 level 99s.
in ff1 i got to lev 60
Probably about 30 on NES, and about 90 on DoS.

99 with everyone in the Dawn of Souls version. I couldn't beat Chaos at level 50, believe me, I tried. Of course, this was before I found out that Chaos' boss fight really depended on luck and not level/strength/whatever.

No, Chaos is probably the hardest FF last boss I ever faced. And I've faced most of them. He took me about 6 or 7 tries to defeat. But that's for another thread entirely.

The highest I've gotten a normal DoS party was in the mid 60's.
I think my Origins Normal was around level 33-34 at the end. DoS was 74 and I didn't even try to build up at any point in that game.
