On the NES version, it was like somewhere in the late 30s. I don't think I have the patience to go up to level 50.

On the Dawn of Souls version, it was 90-something.

Once you get to lv. 50, the XP required to the next lv up is ZERO.

So, essentially, You level every fight after that, even though the game doesn't acknowledge it, and I never counted. So I have no idea, but it's probably somewhere around 150 - 200.

In the DOS version, I'm up to 99 and am gathering various aples and such to raise my HP/MP to 9999 and 99 respectively.

High 30s in the NES version. There's not much point in going higher than that...high 30s is plenty enough for a well-rounded four-member party to slaughter the hordes in the Chaos Temple twenty times over.

I usually get to around early 30's. I'm not sure the exact value because end-game experience levels are not really something I note. In most other ff games, it's always 99.

High 30's on NES, level 50 on WSC (only once, though, mostly I finish on level 30's), level 40+ on Origins (both on Easy and Normal).

When I beat the game on FF Origins, my party members were all around Lvl 50. It was the Normal difficulty and it was a challenge.
