Bill Gates will probably go down as one of the greatest philanthropist of all time. You can hardly say that no one likes him when he thousands and thousands of people he's helped would probably say otherwise.
Anyway, I don't really hate any of these people but my vote goes to Thompson cause he's an ass.

Thompson may be an idiot, Ken Kutaragi may not look through his speeches, and Bill Gates may blunder lots, but I don't know enough about any of them to decide who's worst/best. However, if this is a contest on who is most useless, I'd say Jack Thompson.

Actually it was Bill and his friends but he forced/backstabbed his friends out of microsoft so he could take control...and he may "donate" loads of money to charity...but how many celebs do you know that do the same thing to raise their public profile and are just doing it for selfish reasons?
So his motives makes his deeds less good? Whatever his motives are doesn't change the fact that he helps a lot of people.

well i define something as good not by the actaul deed but by the motives....its like if someone commited suicide i would think "idiot!" but if they did it for the good of their country because they possessed military secrets i would think "Hero!" its the same with this....giving with no ulterior motive = "good!"......giving with a selfish motive = "arse!"
