Just wondering because I've run low on Teleport Stones and I hate traveling from Crystal to Crystal...but where are you at in the game when you are able to take controll of ahving an airship to transfer quickly from place to place?

Very close to the end of the game. But it can only take you to outdoor locations, naturally, so the Teleport Stones are actually more convenient anyway.
The Strahl pretty much sucks.

Teleport Crystals basicaly do everything the airship does and more.
(SPOILER)You actually never get control of the airship, you can just kind of fly place to place from the airports in each city.
I am kinda surprised people haven't been making a bigger deal out of this...
...and yes, the backlash has officially begun.
It's not like the airship in X was anything spectacular.
You do get control of the airship. You can land anywhere where there is an anchor, not just the Aerodromes.
