Calling in for backup! (RPGXP)
Alright guys, I usually use RPG Maker 2003, and just recently have I picked up RPG Maker XP. I like the graphic style and the scripting idea makes it possible to do alot with the system. Problem is I don't have nearly enough time to think up a story, and do all of the creating needed. So I decided to put together a team, because I really do want to have an XP game underway.
I'll give you the script of the openning movie/Scene for you to get a look at the story so you can decide if your interested.
The Four Swords of Sanctum
Narrator: Once their where four swords of great power each
with their own wielder. These four fought to provide balance to the world.
But eventually one of the warriors was affected by
the strength he posessed and was consumed with greed. He sought to take control of the other warriors and obtain their swords. His lust gave his sword a new terrible power, and
even all together the other three warriors couldn't
defeat him. As a last ditch effort the warriors dispeled the swords
of their power, and defeated the tainted warrior. As centuries passed the swords became ancient history, and eventually faded into a legend. But the Swords still exist, and the legends are being revisited... People want their terrible power.
Here are a list of jobs I need filled, more then 1 can apply for any job… the more the merrier!
Graphic Design- Title Screens, game over screens, basically anything we need looking really purdy :P
Composer- None of the RTP music is really good so I would love to have people help with this
Scripter- If someone knows Ruby Scripting we could pull off a lot
Character Designer- Character Sets, battlers, we need it all!
Mappers- Design cities, forests, dungoens, ect. using RPGXP
Tester- Look for bugs, and glitches which I can assure you will be in the game. Also comment on gameplay.
More jobs will be added in a later time.
The only thing I plan on doing by myself is the story but I will take any/all recommendations into consideration… This is the first time I’ve ever worked with XP so I want help you guys!

Some Progress...
Title Screen
I got someone to help me and know the game has its own magic level up system which works. The system takes the amount of times you've used certain spells, and your level to determine when you learn a new spell.
Short Demo- Also in other news the download for the first scene is done. Just go to 4shared.com sign in as ff9fan@gmail.com (the password is 4swords) and download it. You'll notice Final Fantasy Music (Kefka's Theme). Whenever final fantasy music appears it is music that has to be replaced and will not under any circumstances show up in the final game.
