    Default The Fountain

After waiting for so long to see this movie, I can safely say Aronofsky's film lived up to my expectations. Although not quite as epic or moving as I anticipated, the visuals, music, and atmosphere are some of the best I have ever seen, and will probably ever see. It's just freaking beautiful to look at.

Most of the performances were great, Jackman especially. I got pretty choked up in one particular scene towards the end. Weisz was good as expected, but Jackman definitely stole the show.

For those who've seen it, what were your impressions? I doubt many of you have or will see it, but I highly highly encourage you to. I can assure you it's quite unlike anything you have seen before.

I haven't seen it yet, but I will. The trailers looked interesting and how can a movie that has Jackman in it go wrong?

Oh god. I was hoping that it would be good, but yeah I was completely blown away. I can't get over it! Everything was just so stunning. The images especially. I really want to go see it in the theater again because waiting to see it on a tiny screen wouldn't do it justice. And I loved the repetition throughout the whole thing.

And it was achingly bittersweet, so of course I was like, in tears halfway through it to the end. And after I got home. I agree with you about Hugh Jackman, too. I liked him before this movie, but here I loved him. He really impressed me. I knew SHE would be great since I've always loved her. ;D

    Anyways yeah. smurfing awesome movie.

It was one of the best and most artistic movies I've seen in a very long time. Definitely not a movie for stupid people. I was slightly irritated at all the people around me complaining as soon as it was over. Seriously, do you have a brain? How did that movie not make any sense?

    Oh well.

Seriously. I heard this couple walk out after my screening saying it was a piece of crap, made no sense, etc. I mean, I can understand you not liking it, but saying it's a piece of crap? Give me a smurfing break.
