    It's the strongest sword in the game if you've never run from a battle. If you do a lot of running, you should have gone with the Chicken Knife, which increases in power as you flee from more encounters.

    However, the Brave Blade has a potential of 144 attack power, whereas the Chicken Knife can only reach 127 and randomly causes you to attempt to flee from the current battle.

    I remember reading that the Brave Blade can have 150 Power.

    I also remember reading that the higher your character's agility is the more damage they'll do with the Chicken Knife Equipped.

    Yes, the Chicken Knife takes both strength and agility into account when calculating its damage, whereas the Brave Blade only considers strength. But whether it actually makes a great deal of difference is arguable.

    This must mean that the Chicken Knife is superior.
    Take a look:

    Strength = S
    Agility = A

    S = Brave Blade strength
    S + A = Chicken Knife strength

    The Brave Blade gains a (Level*Strength)/128 bonus to it's damage multiplier bonus (M) whereas the Chicken Knife gains the same plus (Level*Agility)/128. Of course the character it is equipped on would make a notable difference over time. The Brave Blade would be best on Butz since he has the highest strength, whereas the Chicken Knife would be better off on Faris since she has an equal distribution of strength and agility. In this situation, a fully-charged CK would do more damage on Faris with Monk and Thief mastered than with a fully-charged Brave Blade on Butz with Monk mastered. CK also halves an enemy's evasion, but since many players tend to use X-Fight late game, which ignores evasion, this is a bit of a moot point.
