Yep.
2) Do you then use the roll, if that last bit wasn't enough?
No.
3) Are you always polite and replace the empty roll with a fresh one?
Weeellll....Sometimes. Depends if the seat was up or not.

I can't stand using the roll on the roller. It takes too much time. Freehand is superior.

For the first time ever, I have read one of your posts and strongly disagreed with you.

And who says you need to fold it?

I use whatever I get off the roll.
I have never used the roll and I doubt I ever will.
I always replace the roll unless it's impossible due to lack of supplies.

Folding maximizes surface area and reduces unnecessary use of paper as had through "crumpling".
