i dont know if eny one has read eny of my other post, but im new to finl fantasy. I was wondering how do oyu get oyur white mage to be a wizard or what ever???

By a sidequest later in the game. You have to find the Rat's Tail in the Citadel of Trials, and give it to Bahamut in the Dragon Islands. I recommend doing it when searching for the Water Crystal.

I usually do it even earlier. When I get the canoe from the Crescent Town, I go to the Citadel of Trials to get the Rat's Tail. Then I go to the Ice Cave to get the Airship (you can do these in any order, but I think Ice Cave is a lot harder than the Citadel of Trials) and visit the Dragon Islands. After the class change, I head to the Gurgu Volcano.

I also like to upgrade before the volcano. And get the airship so I can buy higher magic earlier.

Instead of upgrading, become the badass who beats the game for the first time while performing the No Class Change Challenge.
