Interesting, because I can't find myself to trust my characters with healing gambits. I find I can manage heals so much better because I can judge casting time, enemy targets and relative mana for all my characters before I make the decision.

Auto-attack gambits are nice, because it basically means for all non boss encounters all you have to do is run your characters into range and they take care of everything for you while you can brows forums/make food/study while running around.
