I kept reading about an Assassin Knife that has very low attack power and the chance to KO an enemy in one hit in a bunch of FFIV SNES FAQs. I never found one though.

Then when FFIV Advance comes out it turns out to be a purchasable weapon with quite a high attack power and it doesn't have the ability to inflict a one hit KO.

What's with all this?
