Gameplay wise - Vaan. He is 7 Levels ahead of everybody else and he is extremely strong when using a Katana. Plus, I have him use Heavy Armor and taught him the following Technicks: Steal, Poach, First Aid, Libra, Shear, Gil toss, Horology, Numerology, Sight Unseeing, Infuse. He is the ultimate Warrior in my party
Story wise - I have to say Balthier and Fran
