Im trying to kill the first wall, and I got it down to around 20% hp left before it rams me.......Bleed seems to work well, and I got my mist chains up to 14 ...... protect helps.
It's the Entites. I can kill them now, but only with great difficulty and a ton of Echo herbs.
My new Most Hated Thing are the bats in Henne Mine which are in the path to (SPOILER)Zodiark. They spam Leech, which hurts you for around 2000 and heals them for the same amount, plus they have a suicide move which hurts you for about 1500 and robs you of their EXP.
I actually just hate everything in that part of the Henne Mines.
Sounds low!!!
You don't have to face the first Demon Wall, just flee to the other room and "tiptoe" back to the way stone after you get the Dawn shard.
Leave this pesky wall for later in the game. Or never, it is optional, I think.
Do level up a bit though. I recommend going through Ogir Yensa and Nam Yensa chaining on Urutan, until you get to the same level as Vossler.
A good rule of thumb is to level till you are the same level as your guest, so you are prepared for the next mission![]()
Just 'cuz no one mentioned it (I'm sure you've gotten through that Demon Wall by now!), but as you fight the 2nd Demon Wall at least, y'know the torches along side the bridge? You can activate them to affect the fight in different ways. Might be helpful. At the risk of giving out spoilers, I will say no more.
It was something I noticed while I was in that encounter the second time I died. The third time I went through it was the last time I went through it.
i know about the torches, and that esper bellias( I think ) died so quick it was scary ( weaker than the deamon wall ), Vossler is lv 18 and i had reflect on and made a big mistake against a fire esper that casts fire.
I have to agree, those bats are evil, you get a few of them together and it just becomes a nightmare.
My vote goes for Ultima, not only is she a pain in the ass to get to (you have no real map in that area) but she changes the field. Starts normal, becomes Hp Sap, Mp Sap, No Magicks, No Fight, No Techniques, and I know the magnet affect is in there somewhere but god... Throw in the fact that Holyja has a high chance of inflicting reverse and your own party ends up killing each other...
My second choice goes to a Rare zombie monster you may encounter in the Lhusu Mines during the "Man of Mystery" Hunt. It has close to a 100,000 hp and likes to spam holy and flare. It's incredibly fast and is immune to revive and Phoenix Downs. It's like fighting a mini boss...
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
Ok, the White Flanne (White Mousse, I think) from the hunts made my personal 'list' of things and people that I get to viciously slash out wih my ink brush when they're finished.
It made me run from him. This is SO not over.
