An old friend of mine told me to try out FFVII and he installed it on my computer. I was like, "You can't be serious? Is the whole game like this, having super-deformed cartoon characters?" He said that's the way it is. Since that was my first RPG, my first time through the game didn't go all that well, but I eventually beat it. However, I played FFVII again later, and that's when it turned out to be one of my favorite games.
