Punk scene isn't thriving, but it isn't dead. And punk music certainly isn't dead.
Tokyo Showdown isn't pure punk though. I don't even know why they've been classified as punk. Neither do they, actually.
Classic punk doesn't even exist anymore. That only last about two years between 1977 and 1979.
