X-magic and X-attack

Im wondering where i can find those 2 abilities. Can someone please tell me

X-Magic is the level 4 ability of the Red Mage and X-Fight is the level 4 ability of the Hunter.

You have got to be kidding me red mage takes forever to lvl

You're right there, it takes a while to get all that 999 ABP for the Red Mage in order to learn X-Magic. However, I think it's totally worth it. Either keep using the Red Mage throughout the game and you'll eventually master that job, or just keep fighting in the (SPOILER)Void to gain lots of ABP, especially if you encounter Movers.

And it takes forever because it's really powerful. The best abilities never come cheap, otherwise the game would be too easy.

And yeah, when you can abuse Dualcast to effectively cast Bahamut/Meteor/Holy/Flare five times in a row, it's got good reasoning for that 999 ABP cost.

Does it take a sopt in your abilities. For example, for my summener i have whm/smm would i have to replace on of those for x magic?

Yes, it takes up an ability slot. But it is entirely worth it.

Yes, it takes an Ability slot, so unless you use the Bare, Mimic or Time Mage class, you won't be able cast five spells on a row, but you can still attack your enemies with 2x Holy, 2x Flare, 2x Bahamut or something like that. With a Time Mage and X-Magic, you can start a battle by casting Haste2 and Quick, then you just cast 2x Meteor twice. It gets even cheaper when you have a Mimic with X-Magic, Summon and Time Magic, so you can use X-Magic to cast Bahamut-Quick, then 2x Bahamut and Mime it. I think it's just right that you need to level up your jobs a lot to learn such a useful ability.

Oh yeah...I used Red Mage right when I got the job...!DualCast is sick...I mean if you have !DualCast + Time Magic you WILL get at least 10x Meteor in with just one character no matter what battle you fight. Use four characters and the enemy is toast...
