Default Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny

So I just watched this last night, and I must say this is one great movie. Jack Black and Kyle Gass don't fail to deliver a most humorous movie and some great rock tunes while thier at it. I'm inclined to pick up the CD today. ^^

So who else has seen it and what did you think of it?

Although I must say I'm really hoping for another Tenacious D movie.

I really want to, but Borat ruined my parent's trust in R rated movies.

I can say with about a 99.9% of certainly that few if any movies will ever compare with the level of things that Borat did that most R-rated movies would ever have in it.

Tenacious D will have a lot of swearing and maybe some sexual humor probably not much else. I'll see it eventually, probably on DVD, like most movies these days for me.

    Take care all.

Oh my god, I don't know about you, but that movie sucks in my mind.

Unfortunately, it's a pretty small demographic that actually understands the D's philosophy of style and humor. It's a huge injustice to the rock gods, but the metal mentality just doesn't have mainstream appeal right now.

That being said, I absolutely loved it.

90 minutes of Jack Black yelling f**k. That alone was enough for me, though the story itself was pretty retaded, and not in an entertaining Wayne's World or Bill and Ted way, just kind of dumb. Still fun though.

The mushroom scene was classic for me. I've never thought drug induced trips to be funny in past movies and media, but Jack Black did an awesome job on this one I thought. XD

I saw the Black Carpet screening before it officially came out. They played a mini-concert before the show, it was fantastic. The movie is hilarious.

I haven't seen it yet, but I do have the album. I'm curious about the movie.

I haven't seen it, nor do I plan to. There's just something about Jack Black that really annoys me.

Looks like a fun movie, hope to see it one day. Theatres or on DVD, whichever.
