Yes, I do use the button.

Unfortunately, I get timed out a lot of times. 25 minutes is too short of a time to be kicked out. :D At least you can't stay logged in indefinitely anymore.

I sometimes do it if I have alot of time, if I don't I usually leave it and just close the browser.
As my server goes off when electricity goes off as well, *sigh*, so I usually don't have the time to log off which is sad.

If I'm on a more public lab computer at school, I simply clear the cookies and history when I'm done. It achieves the same effect.

Nah. I don't even bother when I'm on public machines. So if I ever go insane and start posting rubbish (*ahem*), then it's most definitely not me, and this is most definitely not a subtle yet cunning ruse for me to post rubbish and then blame it on someone else.
