For Your Consideration

Okay, this is just something to help with voting that Award Guy asked me to do and Miriel initially suggested in the Ciddie Feedback thread after the Summer '06 Ciddies. As many of you know, we have a good number of people nominated to Ciddies #20-23, which are the creative personal work ones - Best Artist, Best Graphic Designer, Best Writer, and Best Poet. Well, since it can be a pain to search through the forums for works from the nominees (trust me, I found out while during this), I've compiled some links to threads that showcase the each nominee in each category. In an effort to keep the focus in the last six months, each piece was posted prior to the start of the last Ciddies (May 27, 2006). If a piece didn't have any title at all (not even "Untitled") I tried to think of an appropriate one. The maximum amount of pieces I put for each nominee is five, and if they would like they can request I include specific pieces. This is mainly so there won't be ten pieces for one nominee and two for another. If I couldn't I gave it a rather generic one that somehow fit it. But really, the title doesn't matter (usually), it's the content that counts. So, without further adieu...

Glad everyone seems to like it.

I just wish Award Guy had given me more notice than this morning on whether to do it or not. Having it up when voting first began would have made it more effective, in my opinion, plus I would have liked to have been able to ask the nominees to pick the pieces themselves beforehand. Either way, it was a more productive way to spend an afternoon than my previously planned way (Age of Empires III).

Don't forget, if you want something changed, just post or PM me and I'll be happy to do it, as long as the new piece you want in was posted after May 27.
