Rase: Sorry for not giving you much notice. I only knew the nominees at the last moment, obviously, so couldn't have told you before then! As for doing it before nominees are known, I don't want to give anyone an unfair advantage due to their work being posted here without every other artist in EoFF having their work shown off too... so yeah, this can only really be done after the finalists are known. Sorry!

First, don't worry about last minute thing. I just have a slight perfectionist in me and like things to work out as best as possible. Since this is the first time trying this, I think it's only natural to have a few bumbs along the way.

I didn't mean before the finalists are known really, more that it be either put in the Ciddies thread or posted at the same time (i.E., withing five minutes or something. Really soon afterwards). Something like this:

After you have tallied up the votes and know who will move on to the Finals, you could send the list of the ones in the four categories to me. I would then PM each person and ask them for their top five or so pieces they want to be known for (made within the last six months, of course). They reply with the choices, and I'll compile it all and post the thread or pos a reply near the top of the Ciddies Finals thread.

This would require the nominees to promise to not make the fact that there are nominated known before they are revealed in the thread though. Also, it would be possible for you to do this whole thing yourself, and if you want to that's fine. I'm simply offering to help since I figure you must be pretty swamped with stuff during these.

The downside of that is waiting 1-2 days in the hope that everyone logs in and replies to you. You have no idea how many people bug the hell out of me between closing of nominations and the release of finalists. They want things instantly! But I will hopefully time things a little better next time. I'll look into options, either way!
