Adhere to the UYFB rule and things should always work out nicely.
It should be said that the word "safe" has ever entered my thoughts when thinking of these fora. That is to say, I have never regarded them as safe or unsafe, because I have never considered myself in danger of anything here. If I were to be banned, it would probably be purposeful, so it would not constitute a danger, per say.

Safe, because I never post "bad" threads, and that's why I never receive any warnings.
This is a private forum and there are certain etiquette's you should have (it sounds snooty but its just a "standard" to uphold). Obscene things would show that you are probably a unsavory person and a admin will most likely boot you not because you did anything wrong neccerly but because because the staff doesn't want people like that around.
Take for example some staff openly spam,insult flame whatever, go beyond the set limits of avatar and sig limitation's and have nothing to worry about.
Do I feel safe? don't really care this is just a forum for open discussion even tho this place is really great and I have some fond memories here I can't say I ever even thought about being banned... not for a while anyway things aren't looking to friendly in the forum it would be safe to say that "Marshal Law" has been declared here

Anyone who hasn't received several PM warnings, one of which has the words "Final Warning" in them shouldn't have any reason to fear, unless they have some inclination to post or link to porn on this site.
That's best avoided by, you know, not posting/linking porn, and never direct-linking images since a lot of sites like to be buttheads about it.
In theory. The UYFB rule isn't necessarily canon here.
EDIT: I should clarify, since that sounds like a potshot. The UYFB rule, by its nature, is dynamic. A true implementation of it requires a final authority--one person who makes the calls, and that person cannot be an imbecile. In order to promote solidarity, it's neccesary in a mutli-authority environment to attempt to codify the UYFB rule in writing. Anything in writing is static--it cannot react to reality, since reality is in a constant state of flux. Hence, the UYFB rule, once codified, ceases to be the UYFB rule.

The UYFB rule is a nice paradox since someone who actually has a brain wouldn't need to utilize the rule and those without brains are doomed from the start.
A banning conspiracy?
Add Dignified Pauper to your list of recent bans Devil Man.What could he have done? I thought he was a respected member... and besides, he seemed to have a lot of experience with the rules as well. Surprising.
Anyway, I feel pretty safe myself. Though I haven't had an official PM warning, I have been warned not to link to one webcomic and one animimated parody, and I've had a few posts edited. Despite this, I always try to follow the rules, even so more now that I have more experience with them, and I never intentionally try to get the CKs or administrators angry. So yeah, I think my ass is covered for now.
Sometimes I wonder though, especially when people like Diginified Pauper go.
Dignified Pauper has been banned for a long time. If I were a CK, I would be enjoying this paranoia and fueling the fire.
