In-jokes dont mean some pointless random pictures should be removed while other pointless random pictures should be allowed to stay.

your just over exagerating the matter! sheesh dont get all wound up about it :rolleyes2 the Gorbachev pic isnt doing harm, so there is no reason for it to be removed. staff do things for a reason, with maybe a tiny tiny bit of favouratism! if they warn or remove stuff, its for a valid reason
