Whoops, I forgot to mention Mulan and Tarzan. I also found those two movies to be enjoyable. In Mulan, you finally have a female main character who not only isn't a damsel-in-distress, but who's also a knight who can fight. The characters are also quite well done and have memorable personalities. What I liked about Tarzan was that it had quite an emotional story. Tarzan could never fit in too well with the gorillas, and when he finally found someone like him (Jane), he had to choose who to abandon: his gorilla family (especially his mother, Kala) or his new human friends.

Yes, TLK and Hamlet do have many similarities, but then again, TLK also takes many concepts from Bambi. When TLK was still a project, Disney referred to it as "Bambi in Africa meets Hamlet".

And speaking of which, Bambi is a great animated film too.
How I met your mother, Donald Duck's parents style! Love at first temper tantrum!

"Bambi in Africa meets Hamlet?" lmao, only disney could have such a crazy idea and make it work. Bambi was probably the first disney movie i saw, i thnk i always liked thumper best...or that skunk guy.

Beauty and the Beast was pure ownage though, we even went to see it on ice and i would work my little kid butt off doing chores to save up for toys. Aladdin toys were still better though, cuz they had swords xD

Its sad that I still could do that . I had the little action figures and everything and knew the movie word for word when i was about 6-8...and i still can (i was a non-social child)

But my other favorites are Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Lady and the Tramp!! But The Lion King is number 1 always and forever!!

I thought the Aladdin sequels were pretty awesome too Return of Jaffar, King of Thieves -- neato!

Hmm I just found out recently that The Lion King is based on Hamlet somewhat. That was...I dunno. Interesting, I guess. The Disney Cliffs Notes xD

EDIT: OH WAIT, READ THE THREAD, RETARD. READ THE THREAD. xD Nice one, Ava-ness.
I had to read that like 3 times to figure out what I did right. xD I'm fast.
