By the time you want to get the Zodiac Spear, you've already finished the license board (At least, near-finish). And 150 Attack is enough to show its powerfulness. But I agree, it's not worth it but......completist. I STILL WANT TO GET IT!!!!!

Blood Sword also drops from the undead Steeling-type enemies (forgot their name) that appear in the Henne Mines. I got two, but by then it was obsolete for me. 9000 gil isn't bad though.
