See, that tech support thing you mentioned? That was what caused me to learn enough about computers to fix the things that went wrong with it. It started with my PC, and later on, my old PS2 started to die (it finally passed away this year, so I had to buy one of the little ones)... I kinda' thought... "Do I want to call Sony, get run around for a while, be told that they need my PS2 in the shop, and pay them $50 to do 'something', OR do I just crack open my PS2, dust off the lense, and see if it works afterwards..."

Guess which one I did.
