To gather inspiration to bring you another award-winning speech that moves the masses, I decided to do a little research on what the ultimate fanboy/girl truely is. So I headed over to the Wikipedia and Urban Dictionary for a description of a fangirl and fanboy, or fanboi if you're a dork who thinks that everything sounds better with a japanese twist (I'm looking at you, Cefca lovers ).

The Wikipedia describes a fanboy as "...an unkempt, socially awkward, young man who may be perceived as a loud mouthed pseudo-intellectual. Since that describes 99% of the population of these forums, that didn't help me narrow down my search for the ultimate fanboy. The Urban Dictionary defines a fangirl as "A rabid breed of human female who is obesessed with either a fictional character or an actor. Similar to the breed of fanboy. Fangirls congregate at anime conventions and livejournal. Have been known to glomp, grope, and tackle when encountering said obesessions." Again, this didn't help much as the 1% of our population that is female fits the bill pretty well.

Next I decided to do a google image search for fangirl and fanboy, thinking that I would recognize the ultimate fanboy/girl when I saw their. I didn't find the ultimate fanboy or fangirl, but I did find a girl with a fan:


Never giving up, I poured through the information I had gathered and discovered that the ultimate fanboy/girl was right here all along! Who is this ultimate fanboy/girl?
