I must say I was flattered when Award Guy asked me to present this award. But then I realized that I was like the only CK on at the moment when he PMed me and he probably did it out of desperation more than anything else.
Anyway, the first thing I did, and the first thing I'm sure
every newly appointed Staff member does when they first enter the plushy, crowded, porn-filled, Staff forum, was to check the massive thread detailing who should be a CK and why. Y'all should see some of those threads, they're long and full of statistics and haggling back and forth.
Who should be knighted? Her? Maybe. Him? Yes! Wait, no. Doesn't he have a thing against cats?
The thing that comes up most often though, is "what would this person bring to the table?" Perspectives and all that good stuff. We have Kishi and Necro who bring some really
bizarre things to Staff discussions. We have Del Murder and Yamaneko with the witticisms. BoB with his pie charts. And so on and so forth.
I had the opportunity upon my very first post in the Staff forum, to haggle with the best of 'em over who would be the next CK. There was one person who stood out over everyone else in terms of what this person could bring to the Staff forum.
Is this person active in the forums? Definitely.
Is this person well-liked? Probably one of the most popular members of all time.
Is this person dedicated and trustworthy? No doubt.
This member, my newbie CK buddy, was someone who I don't think any of us doubted would use his unique personality, humor and position within the community to bring a fresh new perspective to the Staff forum. And boy were we right! This person has been a great member of the EoFF community for a long time and now he has the distinction of being a great Staff member who has contributed buttloads through his efforts as a CK.
So the Forums Staff Highwind Award goes to...

Congratulations to Psycho Paul. I had no doubts that you would be a superb Cid's Knight, even before you were knighted. You are the bane of second accounts, and investigator extraordinaire. And I'll admit that I'm a little jealous of your lightening quick banning moves and super fast response times to warned posts.
So there you have it, Pscyho. The Staff as a whole approves of you. Don't let it get to your head.
