I don't think it'll do very well. Love Firefly and Serenity as much as I do, I just don't think it'll make a very good MMO.

I love firefly. why was it cancled anyway?

It was cancelled because the idea of a Space Western was completely bizarre and unheard of and it didn't get enough viewers to convince Fox that it was worth keeping around. It didn't help the show's case that they played the episodes in the wrong order and changed the time slot numerous times.

Eh Fox screws up just about every good show they ever had. Just watch the first new episode of Family Guy (after it's several year hiatus) with thier opening remark of them getting canceled because Fox wanted to show 'better' shows, and just listen to the list they gave. It was so great to listen too, and made me remember a bunch of faield shows...heh Greg the Bunny...

I also heard a rumor that Fireflies entire failure was part of some clever and elaborate (as well as expensive) plan to get Joss Wheadon (or however his name is spelled >.>) to work personally again on Buffy since it was already a popular and established show he was neglecting to write for while working on Firefly. But yeah nothing more then a rumor I've heard from a friend. No real proof to back up.

Firefly MMORPG. Are you kidding? I love Firefly, I love MMORPGs, but squishing the two together? What a horrible idea.

I'm not really so sure that would be a good idea. The entire thing has been kind of ruined. I'd rather see another movie than an attempt at reviving the series. I love the series, mind you. But look at Family Guy. It got cancelled, came back, and now it sucks.

And although I have faith that Joss Whedon would do the best job that he can do, I'd rather not take the chance. Another movie, please. Not exactly a sequel to Serenity (since I didn't like some of the things that happened there. WAAAAAAAAAAAAASH ;_;)
