For my Freshman English class, we had to pick certain lines from the play and basically describe what was being said in plain, good ol' modern English. I wish we would have had the coat of arms instead

Mine has a Dragon fish (I'm a pisces born on the year of the dragon) thing wrapped around a cross holding a calligraphy bush in his left hand and in his right hand was a Playstation controller. There was also some random things dealing with Videogames and art drawn on their respective sides. Got me a 94!

BTW, you probably will have Ceaser next year, Othello your eleventh year, and finish with Macbeth your twelth year.
Haha, we read all those at the same times except Othello. That was probably the best thing about AP Language; no shakespeare 8)

we never made a coat of arms, wtg pre-ap english 9! We had to do a project though, so I made little romeo and juliet dolls and set them up in a cardboard house xD They've been in bed next to my bed for like three years now. Those sexpuppies.

My coat of arms would probably have some celtic knottage going on, and some fleur de lisage, what with heritege and such. Hmm. And I'm not sure what else. I've never really had to make one before.

    He meant "it's a romance". I think.
A shame that it is a tragedy, then.

I like Romeo and Juliet. You know that part where Romeo turned into a Super Saiyan and saved Sephiroth from Juliet. It is really beautiful.

A shame that "romantic" is an adjective, and that it is still a tragedy.

To give this thread a better point: make up a coat of arms for yourself!

    As for your questions...

    1) I thought it was ridiculous. Teenagers fall in love, get married, and kill themsevles over a feud and a miscommunication over a span of, what... three days? Not entertaining. Midsummer Night'd Dream is far better. Everyone has to do these projects in 9th grade; I played Juliet in the class play, in fact.
It's like six days or something.

Either way, the play wasn't that good and all Romeo did was whine. They sort of remind me of Squall and Rinoa, except Romeo was lame and Juliet wasn't cute enough. That's right, I said it.

Oddly enough, I haven't been forced to read this yet.

Also, I'm not quite sure what my family's coat of arms is.
