    Default File conversions and iTunes

[strike]Anyway, I've finally gone and replaced my old iPod. Rather, I'll have it for Christmas, but that's beside the point.

It's an iPod Video, so, naturally, I intend to put some videos on it. I've been trying to put the anime I have on my computer onto iTunes, but I've run into technical difficulties.

I'm using the Videora iPod Converter to change .avi type files to MP4s, the only file type iTunes accepts. The transcoding goes fine, no problems there. It even accepts the file when I import it to iTunes. However, when I try to play the video in iTunes, I get a scrambled screen with a bunch of green lines. I'm pretty sure that there's nothing wrong with the videos. I can play them perfectly fine with the VLC Media Player (though that plays just about anything).

I really don't know where to go on this one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.[/strike]

Edit: I figured it out. Had to mess with some settings with Quicktime.
