they call here Aerith because that is her name... yeah...you missed the begining or something because mines Aerith and i didn't even change it.

Which was a translation error. It has only appeared in the Sony translation of FF and a few other works, and is VASTLY overshadowed by the number of times it has appeared as Aerith. It's still outnumbered even if we just limit it to the English examples.
