Well, maybe not EIGHT Cids tall, but Rubicante definitely would be abnormally tall. Why? Aside from the fact he's evil (though he seemed real nice about that), Rubicante was star of the Mysidian Chocobos back in his college years. The fact he got left out of Mario 3-on-3 Basketball was a bit of a disappointment to his fans (unless of course he's actually in there--I never played it much myself).

No she didn't. The question was about Ashura versus Rydia one-on-one. The battle with Ashura in the game had Ashura versus a five-person party that included Rydia.
