As for me, I think my capitate is pretty nice, it's slender and healthy but firm and hard to the touch. I'm proud to say that my capitate is one of my better features, I would never change it.

It is important for people to feel good about their capitate, because it not only boosts one's own self-esteem, but it's an important factor in finding a good partner. However! Someone should never try to change their capitate size or shape for their partner. It's important to feel pride about having a healthy shape or size to it. If your partner cannot respect your capitate, then you cannot respect them. If they were a true lover, then they would love your capitate the way it is.

Not really. I've found I can masticate quite effective without it. That said, it does facilitate the process.
