I didn't see this thread yet.
Anyway, have you seen this movie, if not, do you, if you did see it, what'd you think?
I thought it was pretty good. Outragously violent, but good.
It was one of the most pointless movies I've ever seen. I guess I was expecting more than just a day in the life of Mayan victims.
And the best part is it made the Mayan look extremely violent which, they really weren't.
I haven't seen it (and this is no reflection of my opinion of Mel) but the movie looks so pointless.
Mel Gibson's word is truth. You are a liar. A damned liar! DON'T LOOK AT ME!
To be honest, it doesn't look like a very interesting movie. All I know about is that Gibson shot it out, it is in a language I have no grasp over whatsoever, and that the plot seems uninteresting and dry at best. Some guy doesn't wanna die so he runs away or something? I dunno.
Kinda boring.
"Eh" with the little waving "kinda" hand.
P.S. Point of movie is to be controversial. It is wooooorking
This movie could have been renamed "Mayan Warchief's Bad Day," or "The Unfortunate Events of Mayan Warchief."
It seems rather dull to me. As I have yet to see Borat or Casino Royale, I'll probably go see them first before I even think about seeing this.
Not one of my favorites, but it was okay
Sure, I saw it the day it came out. The plot wasn't overly spectacular, but I'll tell you. What I liked most about the movie was the talent, and the fact that almost none of them were 'real' actors. I found that really interesting and by virtue that makes the movie alright in my book.

Well, when it comes to the sense of the movie then yeah they were but in like the whole big picture or whatever the Mayans weren't REALLY violent people.
Didn't it do really well the first week and then really badly the second week? Kinda like The Hulk?
it looks like another in a long line of visually stimulating and mentally debilitating movies
