Stealing

I just don't get it. When I flipped through boss section, there are three items you can steal from the bosses. But the thing is, I can only steal only one item and whenever I try to steal afterward, it keep says it has nothing to steal. What am I doing wrong here?

I think it's got to do with specific time intervals. Try stealing again after the boss does something flashy or special.

Also, some things, even from bosses, are not 100% steals, you can get one or the other of something. But for the most part, what Mirage said holds true. For example in the (SPOILER)Gilgamesh battle, you can steal one thing at first, then at a certain hp % you'll get a cutscene, after the cutscene there's something new available, and so forth. Sometimes the actions aren't as flashy, but the mob will take on a new character, casting different magics, or attacking in a different manner.

You can only steal one item from the boss. If you get good item, then you're lucky.
