Squall
Squall likes to chase skirt across Balamb, but his lack of a father figure disabled some of the Jungian aspects to fully set in. Hence, Squall associates with some of the finest FMV girls but, unfortunately, needs to be 'picked-up' by them, not the usual scene at a night club where the males try (often in vain) to impress the girls. Irvine who still has some memory charms Selphie (but she is easy going). Rinoa is a spoilt brat who changes boyfriends and poor Squall doesn't get the first kiss (I bet that Seifer did last summer).
Cloud: water vapour

Tidus: ocean fluctuations (Latin maybe)
Zidane: A French Soccer star.
Yep. Basically, every FF has something in common and something out of the blue!
FF7: Fin de ciele (end of the world)
FF8: ut supra (or what ever above is in Latin)
FF10: plus ut supra
FF9: Crazy, Crazy, frogs, chefs and little magicians.
Yep. Again, it’s the end of the world. Every one loves eschatology.

Bosses/egos/baddies
FF7: Androgynous man with white hair (the hero dreams about)
FF9: Androgynous man with blue hair (the hero rendezvous on the moon)
FF10: Androgynous man with grey hair (the hero dances with in the nether world)
FF8: Ok, I am inconsistent, but at least this time it was a few good looking women in the FMV scenes by all accounts. Why are the Japanese obsessed with the big brother model? Kingdom hearts .... Even Sora (Sky in Japanese) fights an older boy, who, he admits he looks up to.
Cloud: Blonde
Squall: Brown hair
Zidane: Blond
Tidus: Blond
Yep, again ... this is what happens when we have different developers.
