She means changing it for the US, as Philosopher's Stone was changed to Sorcerer's Stone. It was changed because publishers didn't think American kids would buy something with 'philosopher' in the title.
Apparently, the same person who changed the "Philosopher's Stone" into "Sorcerer's Stone" also changed the title of Philip Pullman's novel "Northern Lights" into "The Golden Compass".
