    3188 songs and still going, saddly it took about 2 hours to get them all on there, I'd prolly recomend doing the transfer in incriments versus one EXTREMELY large bulk transfer.

    I have a 2GB nano I got for free with my computer. I like the smaller size because it forces me to keep only songs i want to listen to on it. that means that the shuffle is always good and i have to be discriminating and not just dump everything on it. it's fun to rotate stuff in and out.

    i haven't had a problem with my ipod breaking, but I also take care of it so that it doesn't get damaged.
