So, did you buy stuff for people for Christmas? Why or why not? Did you feel content with your purchases, or did you simply buy stuff due to commercialist tradition?

yeah, i bought a present for two of my cousins, which also happens to be video-games. i don't know what my brother or his g/f might want though.
Yeah, I bought a bnch of CD-roms for my little brother, and a disc and some movie for my parents.
It was a major pain to come up with something, though. XD
I bought my family present's, that's it.

Giving and seeing others happy about what you gave, particularly my 3 kids, is the most wonderful thing for me at this point in life
