Need help with Cd's

K im having trouble with my Final Fantasy VII. When i play it, i get past the part where you blow the reactor up, and when theres that transition between the game and the FMV that comes up, it just freezes on me. Theres little to no scratches on the back. Does anyone have some suggestions about what to do?

I can give a few starters...

Try to replicate the problem with these:

Try the Game in another PS1/2 if possible.
Try a different FFVII game disc if possible


*doubtful but I guess could be problem*
if it happens only on saves, try a diff mem card


If you like, also can try a CD cleaner....

Best advice is trying the current game disc in another PS1/2, and trying a diff game disc in current PS1/2. This narrows the problem down to something that's easier to troubleshoot/give an answer.

Likely tho, the disc is bad, and will need to be cleaned/replaced.

Are you using the PSX or PC version?
