Ben, I'm sure noone is trying to make you feel bad. It's fine that you posted the thread here but a general tip is people will be more serious and sympathetic in Eyes on Each Other, whilst in general chat, you kinda have to expect any response people feel like.

I think the main thing people are saying is it's quite important to talk but I'm sure you two are both young and just getting used to this stuff. Don't worry so much - but if you're not happy then try the things suggested...

Or maybe just give her a hug. Talking is overrated.
