Ark is found by fusing two Pumice Pieces* into a Pumice via a secret synthesis shop in Memoria on disc 4 (you have to go to the underwater area, run behind the rocks on the right and keep mashing the X button until you run into a boss), and Odin can be summoned by purchasing a Dark Matter from the Auction House in Treno, or by finding the odd one lying around God knows where... Auction House is your best bet.

*I know of three Pumice Pieces in the game; fighting Ark in Oeilvert, stealing from Ozma, and finding a chest with it in while hunting for Chocographs.

i own 1 pumice stone. and the only luck iv had in the auction house was the mini cid

Keep trying the Auction House, Dark Matter will turn up eventually, especially if you're at that point where you've got a Pumice Piece.
