It's decent, but there were points where he seemed to be too insistent on that dark growling sound he's known for instead of giving the song the kind of character it needs.
They wouldn't have asked him to do a cover for the special edition soundtrack if they thought he should be shot.
They did on the other hand want Panic at the Disco shot, that's how they got on there.

Seriously, people always make up bull about manson. As for his version of This is Halloween...well, i dont much care for it, but i think its the best anyone could do considering the song doesnt work well being done by one single person.
sounds pretty good, and it works with all the little vocal fx he uses (some natural, some artificial) and is known for, i was impressed, defiantealy heavier than the original but that was expected...
I heard this a while ago, and while I like both Manson and the original song, I thought this was lousy.
As far as I know, I've never heard another P!ATD song, so I'm not going to say they're a crappy band. :P I'm just talking about the one song.:whimper:
