I went to find the Dragon Whisker this morning and I can't believe I made it to Omega's lair in 45 minutes using my map. This includes fighting off the Evil spirits, Forbidden warlocks, etc.
No luck with the Dragon Whisker. I'll give it another shot on my free time.

I've beated FF 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2, 12, best one is tie FF 7, 10 and 12. I'VE BEATED Yiazmat superboss @ level 62!! with party of Fran(62), Ashe(56), and Penelo(59), with *leave and come back* 8 time... need more item.

Great map clear and concise! But they should've labeled the rooms to make navigating the great crystal easier. If you use this map, you are bound to get lost at one point if you don't pay close precise attention. Since you don't know where you are when you hit the "select" key to check your location status. Also this map doesn't tell you where the treasure rooms are. Mine does!
If I had the time, I could combine my map and use this maps design to creat one killer map! Almost as good as an onboard navigation system!

The map is from my site. If you could add the positions of the different treasures with the markeing tool there (http://www.ff12maps.com?map=greatcrystal -> select the pencil in the round menu and place the marker on the room), it would be great!
(Already asked for it in another Thread..)
I did not added the room names, because 1. it would be a mess of text, and 2. you can orientate yourself by looking at the switch- or gatenames.
ok i looked at the good map from ff12maps and i see it all clear but where exactly is the excalibur it doesn't say? is it one of the letters? like what do the letters "S" "C" "P" mean? and so on..
Yeah I'd ahve to go with the GameFAQS submitted version of the Great Crystal's map for the best navigation. I just got done roaming the area for Ultima and to check out Omega, and that map worked perfectly.

You can find the Excalibur, Stoneblade, or the Zodiac Sheild in any one of the 3 following rooms.
1.One of the rooms is that one past gate LEO marked L1
2.the 2nd is after way stone 14, go left 4 rooms to that dead end room
3.the 3rd one is after the room with the capricorn gate stone which is a dead end.
I found Excalibur in option# 2. I'm not sure though if it is the same evertime. I got the Excalibur on my first try at the crystal. The other 2 took me a few more tries.
