Smile and say "cheers"
Smile and say "cheers"
I usually say thanks, or thank you. But often someone will give me several compliments in a row, an once I've said thanks so many times, it starts to sound weird, an I don't want to say thanks anymore because it sounds odd. But then I think if I don't thank them, it will seem rude an ungrateful. Oh the dilemma!
I just say "yeah I know My shoes are that cool" and I smile it sounds like I am ego driven eh!
Chuckles I guess I will help. But it will cost you your soul.
What is compliment?
(I'm never complemented on anything. On the rare occasion that I am, I just say "Thanks." ^_^)

SPELL OF THE MONTH:Bleed! (FFXII)
"Yeah I know"
j\k. Usually "Thanks", followed by a return compliment
It makes me feel extremely uncomfortable. I usually just stand there, red in the face, or I'll say "...thank you," very softly.
Here's an example of a recent occurrence.
Person: You did a good job tonight.
Me: Okay.
Person: Ugh, no you're supposed to say thankyou and then I'll be like your welcome.
Me: *blink* *stare* ...Okay?
Person: Ugh, no why do you have to make it weird?! You hate me! *Runs off*
Me: ...?
Or, I'll just say thanks too. The okay thing amuses me more.
Usually I'll say one of the following.
"Thanks"
"Thanks a lot"
"Thanks, I appreciate it"
"That's nice of you, thanks"
or something similar.
I always accept compliments graciously, even if they're rather misplaced or odd, because I don't want to insult someone who's trying to do something nice for me.
I usually ask "Why?" when I get complimented. Sometimes I'll reply with a "Thanks"

I say thank you and blush.
If it's warranted, I nod and maybe smile slightly involuntarily. Then scream "BOOYAH!"
The MIDDLE FINGER is all you need.
